Ginger and Lime
pheW! I just finished my bachelors assignment on grief and sorrow. For the project we got to choose our own topic; Living with HIV in relation to grief. We might have discovered medicine to keep hiv- positive people alive, but we have not started to treat them humanely in society. There is still a lot of shame and guilt put on people living with hiv, aswell as loneliness, stigma and fear. Ignorance is found even in the healthcare system where healthworkers are supposed to take care of them.
WHEN will we start to treat other people with humanity and not hate/fear/loathe because of them differing from ourselves? When?
I went to see a friend of mines band the other day; The Leipzig Affair. They are cute, fun and tallented. They havn’t released anything yet, but you can hear some of their songs on myspace.
